    Walking

    From Plateia Ypsilantou in the city center, walk southeast on Agiou Nikolaou Street. Continue for about 1 km, passing cafes and shops. Turn left onto Mavromichali Street, then immediately right back onto Agiou Nikolaou Street. The stairway entrance will be on your right after a short walk of 200 meters.

    Public Transport

    From the central bus station (KTEL Patras), take bus number 1 towards Agios Andreas. Get off at the 'Agios Nikolaos' stop. Walk towards Agiou Nikolaou Street and continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the St. Nicholas Stairway on your left. A single bus ticket costs €1.60.

    Taxi

    Taxis are readily available throughout Patras. Inform the driver you wish to go to 'Agiou Nikolaou' or 'St. Nicholas Stairway'. The ride takes approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance. Expect to pay around €3.50 for the taxi start and €1.61 per mile.
