From the center of Rethymno, walk to the main bus station located at 12 Valtaki Street. This is approximately a 15-minute walk. Once you reach the bus station, look for the buses heading to Bali, which is a popular coastal village. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next available departure to Bali. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Bali, you can disembark at the bus stop near the village center. From there, follow the signs toward Geropotamos Beach, which is a short 10-minute walk down the main road towards the coast.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the center of Rethymno to Geropotamos. Taxis can be found at various points in the city, especially near the Venetian Harbor. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Simply tell the driver, 'Geropotamos Beach,' and they will take you directly to the location.

If you are up for a longer walk, you can walk from Rethymno to Geropotamos Beach. Head east along the coast from the city center, following the shoreline.
