PSILORITIS(mount Ida) Crete's Highest Point 2456m
Super treck for a 360* view
Ascent of Mount Ida or Mount Psiloritis in 2h30. We are regular hikers but not necessarily for an elevation gain of this importance i.e. 950 m for a finish at 2450m. It's a fabulous thing to do. Downhill more difficult for me because you have to "block the knees" and it is less comfortable. Provide warm clothes for the top even when you start at 30* below. Beautiful treck to discover.
