If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Chania. Head southeast on the E65 highway towards Agia Roumeli. Continue on the E65 until you reach the signs for Samaria Gorge National Park. Park your car at the designated parking area near the entrance of the gorge. From the entrance, hike through the gorge, following the marked trails. As you approach the end of the gorge, keep an eye out for the trail leading to Krionerida Cave, which is situated on the left side of the gorge. The hike from the gorge to the cave may take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

To reach Samaria Gorge via public transport, catch a bus from Chania to Xyloskalo, the starting point of the gorge.
