If you are in Samaria Gorge and have access to a car, head towards the village of Omalos. From the entrance of Samaria Gorge, take the road leading to Omalos, which is approximately 12 km away. Follow the signs for the White Mountains National Park. As you approach Omalos, you will see signs for the White Mountains Forest Preserve. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance of the preserve. Note that there may be a small parking fee at the preserve's entrance.

To reach the White Mountains Forest Preserve using public transportation from Samaria Gorge, you will first need to take a local bus from Chora Sfakion. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Omalos, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to the entrance of the White Mountains Forest Preserve. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance to ensure timely connections. There may be a small fare for the bus ride.
