Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Imerovigli, you can easily reach the Cliff viewpoint by walking. Start by heading towards the main path that runs along the caldera. Look for signs pointing towards Skaros Rock, as the viewpoint is close to this landmark. Walk along the path for approximately 10-15 minutes, enjoying the stunning views of the caldera on your way. As you approach Skaros Rock, take a left turn when you see the viewpoint signs. The Cliff viewpoint is located just a short distance from there, offering breathtaking panoramas of the Aegean Sea.

• Public Transportation

  While walking is the best option from Imerovigli, if you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a local bus to Fira, the capital of Santorini. From there, you would need to take another bus back towards Imerovigli. However, this route can be time-consuming and is not recommended if you are only looking to visit the Cliff viewpoint. Buses run frequently, and a ticket costs around €1.80. Once you reach Imerovigli, you can follow the walking directions provided above.

• Taxi

  If you would like a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi to take you to the Cliff viewpoint. Taxis are available throughout Imerovigli and can be flagged down or booked via phone. The cost for a short taxi ride within Imerovigli should be around €10-€15, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive, the taxi can drop you off at the nearest accessible point to the viewpoint. You may need to walk a few minutes to reach the exact viewpoint, but it should not take more than 5 minutes.
