As you explore the house, you'll discover vintage furnishings, traditional costumes, carpets, embroidery, and family photographs.The ground floor features a living room with a fireplace and traditional sofas from Kastro, alongside a dining room with unique bamboo chairs and a chandelier dating back to 1883. Ascend the wooden staircase to the upper floor, where you'll find three rooms showcasing different aspects of Skiathian life. One room houses a family loom used for creating textiles, while another displays old photographs and documents that capture the daily lives of past residents. The bedroom features a large iron bed adorned with silk and textiles, a wooden bridal chest, and handmade carpets.Tours are offered by the owners, who share their personal memories and insights into the traditions and culture of the island. Skiathitiko Spiti is more than just a museum; it's an immersive experience that brings the history of Skiathos to life.
