SKYLINE - OTE Tower: Thessaloniki's Revolving Vista

The OTE Tower, standing at 76 meters, is a prominent landmark within the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center. Designed by Greek architect Alexandros Anastasiadis, the tower was completed in 1970 and first opened to the public during the 35th Thessaloniki International Fair. Initially used for television and radio broadcasts, including the first black and white broadcasts of Greek State Television in 1971, it now houses the Cosmote cellular mobile telephone network. The highlight of the OTE Tower is the Skyline Bar, a revolving cafe-bar that provides a 360-degree view of Thessaloniki. The bar completes a full rotation in approximately 60 minutes, allowing visitors to admire the city's attractions from every angle.
