To reach Katarraktis Waterfalls by car, navigate to Central Tzoumerka, approximately 30 kilometers from Arta. From Arta, take the E65 road north, and after 20 kilometers, follow signs to Kentrika Tzoumerka. Turn right to stay on the main road and continue for another 10 kilometers until a fork; take the left fork into a rural area. Follow signs for Katarraktis Waterfalls for 3 kilometers to the parking area near the falls. Parking is available near the waterfalls. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport
To reach Katarraktis Waterfalls via public transport, take a bus from Arta to Central Tzoumerka, with buses running several times a day (approximately 45 minutes). From Central Tzoumerka, take a taxi to the waterfalls (approximately 15 minutes). Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxi fare is estimated to be €15-€20.
Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can reach Katarraktis Waterfalls on foot from the village of Kentrika. The hike is about 2 kilometers and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Follow the well-marked path from the village towards the waterfalls. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear as the path can be uneven and rocky.
