    Getting There

    Driving

    From Karpenisi, take the road towards the Velouchi Ski Centre. Continue past the ski center on the unpaved road for approximately 3km. Parking is available near the end of the drivable road. From there, follow the marked hiking trail to the lake (approximately 1-hour hike). Note that the road is unpaved and may be challenging for low-clearance vehicles. Parking is free.

    Hiking

    From the Velouchi Ski Center, follow the marked trail towards the Dragon Lake. The hike is approximately 3km and takes about 1 hour. The trail is moderately steep and rocky, requiring sturdy footwear. Be prepared for changing weather conditions. There are no fees for accessing the trail.
