    If driving from Kassandra, follow the main road towards Nea Fokea. Once in Nea Fokea, follow signs for the Byzantine Tower. Limited parking is available near the tower. Parking is free, but be prepared to park on the side of the road during peak season.

Nestled in the heart of Kassandra, Sant Paul's Byzantine Tower stands as a testament to the region's rich history and architectural prowess. The tower, likely built in 1407, served as a watchtower for the Monastery of St. Paul on Mount Athos. Constructed from the materials of ancient buildings, the tower has witnessed centuries of history.Standing at a height of 17 meters, the tower dominates the landscape and offers panoramic views of Nea Fokea and the sea. In 1821, during the Greek War of Independence, the tower served as the headquarters for Emmanouil Papas, a leader of the revolution in Halkidiki. It was subsequently set on fire by the Ottomans but later reconstructed in 1976.Visitors can explore the tower and its surroundings, including the nearby church of Agioi Apostoloi, built in 1868. Also close by is the cave of Apostle Paul, a site of religious significance. The tower is particularly stunning at night when it is illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere.
