The Παρατηρητήριο Βόλου, or Volos Observatory, is a scenic spot located on the road to Portaria, offering expansive views of the city of Volos and the Pagasetic Gulf. The observatory provides a harmonious blend of nature and culture, with local flora complementing the historical elements of the region.Recently, an astronomical observatory was constructed near the top of Agios Stefanos in Soros, Volos. This new observatory, a collaboration with the Municipality of Volos, aims to host evenings where the public can observe stars and planets through telescopes. The location was chosen to minimize light pollution from the city.
