If you are already in Portaria, head towards the main square and follow the signs to Λόφος Γορίτσας. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and takes about 20-30 minutes uphill. The path is well-marked, offering scenic views along the way.
Public Transport
From Volos city center, walk to the central bus station (KTEL Volou). Purchase a ticket for Portaria. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. From the main square in Portaria, follow the signs to Λόφος Γορίτσας, a 10-15 minute walk uphill. Bus fare is approximately €2-€3.
Car
If driving from Volos, head towards Portaria, approximately 13 kilometers away. Once in Portaria, follow signs to Λόφος Γορίτσας. Limited parking is available near the entrance. The drive takes about 30 minutes. Parking is free.
