History Tours in Volos

Meteora tour from Volos.A journey through history and nature.

Premium experience in Meteora!

Our full-day tour of Meteora with the Central Greece Experience was a truly premium experience. The vehicle was clean, offering comforts that made the route pass without realizing it. We had free Wi-Fi, USB ports to charge our phones and cameras. Also, providing cool bottled water during the day was a very polite and necessary move. The guide was experienced and willing. He led us to the most impressive monasteries and hidden places for photos that only a local knows, avoiding the big crowd. The comfort of the minivan, combined with the impeccable organization, allowed us to concentrate only on the magic of the Meteora landscape. I highly recommend it.

9-Day Ultimate Greek Experience: Peloponnese, Delphi, Zagori, Meteora, Vergina

Soooo glad we chose this wonderful company!

Five stars, pus plus plus! We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Nikos and Theo at Eudaimonia. Nikos worked hard to find the right rooms for my son and me, and we were never disappointed; all accommodations were excellent, which I was not expecting, considering the reasonable cost of the tour. Nikos was also thorough and precise in messages. He taxied us during another part of our trip through Athens and gave us a wonderful two-hour tour that included the cultural center and a fabulous bakery. We enjoyed our time with him immensely. Our 8-day Peloponnese tour covered countless amazing sites. Unforgettable times at Mycenae, Monemvasia (ah, linger here!), Olympia, and the Meteora monasteries. The day trip to Hydra is strongly recommended. I would have liked to slow the tour down some because there is so much to learn and absorb! Our guide, Theo, could not have been a more congenial, knowledgeable, and fun companion. He was flexible and always eager to meet our wishes. When the mountain train was on strike and we saw a monastery up in the cliffs as we drove down, he made the detour happily, and this became one of my son's favorite stops. And he was tolerant of my fear of heights, which got the better of me once or twice on the high roads! Our delicious lunches full of great conversation and laughter will long be remembered. We saved endless amounts of time, stress, money and mistakes by experiencing Greece with these professionals. Do not hesitate to entrust your group to the team at Eudaimonia--best decision of our trip!

5 Days Private Tour: Delphi – Meteora – Thessaloniki & Pelio

A great 5 day drive!

We have just completed a wonderful 5 day trip with our fantastic driver, Terry, and the best guides covering Delphi, Meteora, Philippi, Kavala, Thessaloniki and Pella. We were very impressed by the passion of the guides, and their enthusiasm in sharing their in-depth knowledge with us. We were also blessed to have Terry as our driver. Nothing seemed too difficult for him, and we had many demands! He also gave us a lot of information and history during the drive, which was really helpful. We will certainly use Olive Sea Travel again when we return to Greece!
