Walking
From the village of Spileo, follow the stone-paved path that begins near the primary school. The path is approximately 2 kilometers long and takes around 30 minutes to hike. The trail is well-marked and offers scenic views of the Venetikos River and the entrance to the Portitsa Gorge. No special equipment is needed, but wear sturdy shoes.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Kalambaka to Grevena. Check the bus schedule in advance. From Grevena, it is advisable to take a taxi to Spileo village, as local bus service is infrequent. The taxi ride to Spileo is approximately 45 kilometers and should cost around €35-€45. From Spileo, follow the walking directions to the bridge.
Driving
From Grevena, follow the road towards Spileo. The drive is approximately 45 kilometers and takes about 45-60 minutes. Be aware that some parts of the road may be unpaved or require caution. Parking is available near the village of Spileo. From there, follow the walking directions to the bridge. Parking is free.
