Bus
From Zakynthos Town, head to the central bus station located at 8 Vasilikou Street. Purchase a ticket for the bus heading to Cephalonia. The bus ride to the island takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, including a ferry transfer. Once you arrive at the port in Cephalonia, follow the signs to the bus terminal for local connections. Look for buses heading towards Ainos National Park. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the park.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Zakynthos Town to the port. Taxis can be found at various locations in the town or can be booked via phone. Once you reach the port, take a ferry to Cephalonia. After disembarking, you can take another taxi directly to Ainos National Park. This is a more expensive option but provides convenience and comfort.
Walking
If you are already in Cephalonia town and prefer to walk, make your way to the nearest bus station and catch a local bus to Ainos National Park. However, if you enjoy hiking, you can walk towards the park from the nearest village, which is about 5 kilometers away. Just follow the signs leading towards the park entrance, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
