Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Zakynthos Town, the main hub for public transport, KTEL buses run to Laganas. The bus trip takes approximately 20 minutes, with tickets costing around €1-€2. Buses operate multiple times daily on weekdays and Saturdays, with reduced service on Sundays. From the Laganas bus stop, the beach is a short walk away.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Zakynthos. A taxi from Zakynthos Town to Laganas typically costs between €8 and €11, and the journey takes about 8 minutes. From Zakynthos Airport to Laganas, expect a fixed fare of around €15-€18. Note that prices may vary based on the time of day and additional luggage. Taxis can drop you off near the beach entrance.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the nearby resorts of Kalamaki or Agios Sostis, you can walk to Laganas Beach. The walk from Kalamaki is along the beach and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. From Agios Sostis, it's a shorter walk of around 15-20 minutes. Follow the coastline, and you'll easily reach Laganas Beach.
