The most common way to reach the Monastery Panagia Skopiotissa is by hiking from Argassi. The trail is approximately 4 km long and takes around 2 hours. The path is scenic but can be steep and rocky in places. Start in Argassi and follow the signs towards Mount Skopos. The trail is well-marked but sturdy footwear is recommended. There are no entrance fees or tolls to access the trail or the monastery. Remember to bring water, especially during hot weather.

Taxi/Car
Alternatively, you can drive or take a taxi for a portion of the journey. Be aware that the road becomes unpaved for the final stretch. From Argassi, follow the main road towards Mount Skopos. You can drive as far as the Skopos Cafe, which is located just before the monastery. From there, it's a short walk to the monastery. A taxi from Argassi to the Skopos Cafe will cost approximately €10-€15. Parking near the Skopos Cafe is free. The cafe owner has the keys to the Monastery and will be happy to open it and let you admire its beauty.
