    From the cruise terminal, St. George's is easily accessible on foot. Upon exiting the terminal, a short walk leads to the heart of the city. The Carenage is about a 10-minute walk. Note that the terrain is hilly.

    The Melville Street Bus Terminal is a few steps north of the cruise terminal. From there, buses travel to various parts of the island. Bus fares range from EC$2.50 to EC$6.50. Buses operate regularly from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays.

The seabed was dredged to a depth of 10.5 meters to accommodate the world's largest cruise ships. Inside the terminal, passengers are welcomed by an extensive Welcome Centre and Duty-Free Hall, offering a variety of retail outlets, including well-known names in electronics, fashion, jewelry, and local crafts. The terminal is designed to ensure passengers pass through the mall upon arrival or departure. Beyond the terminal, a landscaped public square provides easy access to the bustling market and the city of St. George's. The terminal is a short walk from the Carenage, known for its historical buildings and monuments.
