Public Transport
From St. George's, take a minibus to Sauteurs. These buses depart from the Melville Street Bus Terminal. The bus ride to Sauteurs costs approximately EC$8.00 and takes about 1.5 hours. From the Sauteurs bus stop, walk towards the coast and follow local signs to Welcome Stone, about a 10-minute walk. Cost: EC$8.00 (approximately US$3).
Taxi
From Sauteurs, a taxi ride to the base of Welcome Stone is a short trip. Taxis are available in Sauteurs, but it's best to agree on a fare before starting your journey. Cost: A short taxi ride in Sauteurs may cost around EC$20-30 (approximately US$7.50-US$11.20).
Walking
From Bathway Beach, you can walk to Welcome Stone. Follow the road through Rose Hill village. Continue through banana trees until you reach a steep concrete road marked with a Welcome Stone sign. Walk up the steep road; the last 10 minutes are particularly steep. At the top of the hill, walk around the left side of the wire fence to find the trail entrance. The path through the bush takes about 5 minutes to reach the viewpoint.
