Public Transport
To reach Fort Matthew via public transport from the cruise terminal in St. George's, walk to the bus terminal on Melville Street. From there, catch a bus heading towards Morne Jaloux and inform the driver you wish to get off near Fort Matthew. The bus ride costs between EC$2.50 to EC$6.50. After disembarking, walk a short distance uphill following the signs for Fort Matthew.

Walking
From the center of St. George's, head east. Walk along the Carenage towards the roundabout, take the second exit onto Melville Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the main road and turn left onto the main road. Look for signs indicating Fort Matthew. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the fort. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 20 minutes.
