The other springs contain clear, salty water, an intriguing feature considering their location over a mile from the sea. The runoff channels display striking orange-yellow sulphur deposits, adding to the visual appeal.River Sallee Boiling Springs holds cultural significance, with local Baptists traditionally using the site for baptisms and other rituals. Many visitors toss coins into the springs and make wishes, while others test the waters for their rumored healing properties. Some of the springs have been enlarged to allow visitors to dip in and experience the warm, mineral-rich waters.
