    From St. George's, take bus #2 towards Grenville. The bus will stop at the entrance to Mt. Carmel Falls. From the bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the falls, which is typically a short walk of about 10-15 minutes. Bus fare is approximately EC$3-5.

    From St. George's, the drive to Mt. Carmel Falls is approximately 45 minutes. Follow the Eastern Main Road towards Grenville. The entrance to Mt. Carmel Falls is easy to miss, so look for local people who can direct you. Parking is available along Mt. Carmel Road. A taxi from St. George's to Mt. Carmel Falls will cost approximately EC$80-100.

Mt. Carmel Falls, also known as Royal Mt. Carmel Falls or Marquis Falls, is a captivating natural attraction located near Grenville on the eastern side of Grenada. As the island's tallest waterfall, it plunges 70 feet down a rocky cliff face into a pristine pool below. The falls are set on private land within a plantation, where local spices and fruits are cultivated. The journey to the falls is a scenic adventure in itself, with a well-marked path that winds through lush rainforest. The hike to the waterfall takes about 10-30 minutes. Along the way, you'll be surrounded by vibrant tropical flora and the soothing sounds of cascading water. The path can be muddy, so wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Upon arriving at Mt. Carmel Falls, you can take a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls. For a unique experience, you can clamber over the large, slippery boulders to get closer to the cascading water. Adventurous visitors can also follow a path to the top of the falls. There is also a smaller, lower waterfall located along the same path. To get there, you have to cross the river soon after the newly-constructed wooden bridge near the beginning of the hike. The lower waterfall has natural water slides. Mt. Carmel Falls is less commercialized and less crowded than other waterfalls in Grenada, offering a more intimate and peaceful experience.
