Getting There

  • Car

    From Saint David, head west on the main road (A2) towards Grenville. Continue for about 10 minutes, passing through the towns of La Tante and Crochu. Once you reach the intersection for the Balthazar Road, turn left and follow this road for about 5 minutes. Watch for signs indicating Mt. St. Catherine. You will eventually reach a small parking area near the foot of the mountain. Parking may be free, but it’s wise to check for any local signage regarding fees.

  • Public Transportation

    Catch a bus from any major stop in Saint David heading towards Grenville. Inform the driver that you wish to stop near the Balthazar Road intersection. The fare is approximately 2-3 EC dollars (Eastern Caribbean dollars). After disembarking, walk back to the intersection and turn onto Balthazar Road. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the base of Mt. St. Catherine. Note that public transport schedules may vary, so it’s a good idea to check the latest timetable.
