    Public Transport

    From St. George's, take a bus heading towards Sauteurs. The bus fare is approximately EC$2-5. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Levera National Park, and they will drop you at the nearest stop, from which it is a short walk to the entrance.

    Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in St. George's. Negotiate the fare beforehand; expect to pay around EC$30-50 for a round trip to Levera National Park. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance, and you can arrange for the driver to return at a specific time.

    Driving

    From St. George's, head north on the main road towards Sauteurs. Follow the road signs for approximately 1.5 hours. The entrance to Levera National Park will be on your left. Parking is free.

The park's diverse habitats include mangrove swamps, beaches, and coastal dry forests.The park's centerpiece is Levera Beach, a picturesque stretch of golden sand popular for swimming and picnicking. From March to July, the beach becomes a nesting ground for endangered leatherback turtles, offering a unique opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures. The park also features Levera Pond, a 23-acre lagoon and a crucial wildlife habitat. Birdwatchers can delight in spotting various species, including the scarlet ibis, herons, and black-necked stilts.Visitors can explore the park's natural beauty through hiking trails that offer panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding hillsides. The Levera Hill Trail is a moderate hike that takes about 2 hours to complete. A boardwalk extends over the mangrove swamp, providing excellent vantage points for birdwatching. The park also holds historical significance, with remnants of old sugar plantations scattered throughout.
