The gentle waves and shallow depths make it an ideal spot for families with young children and those seeking a relaxing swim.Morne Rouge is smaller and less crowded than the popular Grand Anse Beach, providing a more intimate and peaceful atmosphere. The bay is sheltered, offering placid waters perfect for lazy swimming and snorkeling. While the snorkeling might not be as vibrant as other spots, you can still spot sea urchins and starfish in the clear waters.Along the beach, you'll find a few laid-back bars and restaurants serving local delicacies and refreshing drinks. Enjoy fresh seafood with stunning views of the bay. As the day winds down, Morne Rouge offers spectacular sunset views, painting the sky with vibrant colors. The origin of the nickname "BBC Beach" is debated.
