Public Transport

Buses operate from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Bus fare ranges from EC$2.50 to EC$6.50. The journey takes under 2 hours.

This geothermal site features six natural springs with a water temperature of around 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius). The area is characterized by soft, porous volcanic sediments and orange-yellow sulphur deposits in the runoff channels.
The largest pool, about 15 feet in circumference and 6 feet deep, contains water with an earthy tone. Many visitors dip into the pool or have local guides rub the soothing earthy mixture on their skin, believed to improve its look and feel. Smaller holes are filled with clear, salty water, despite being over a mile from the sea.
