    Discover more about Sulphur Spring

Nestled in the picturesque village of River Sallee, in the northern parish of St. Patrick, Grenada, the Sulphur Spring is a captivating natural attraction. This geothermal site features six natural springs with a water temperature of around 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius). The area is characterized by soft, porous volcanic sediments and orange-yellow sulphur deposits in the runoff channels. The largest pool, about 15 feet in circumference and 6 feet deep, contains water with an earthy tone. Many visitors dip into the pool or have local guides rub the soothing earthy mixture on their skin, believed to improve its look and feel. Smaller holes are filled with clear, salty water, despite being over a mile from the sea. Visitors can indulge in mud treatments, exfoliation, and moisturizing treatments offered by local guides, enhancing the spa-like experience. The Sulphur Spring also holds traditional religious significance for Baptists, who perform rituals here. Whether seeking relaxation, geological exploration, or cultural immersion, Sulphur Spring offers a unique blend of experiences in Grenada's natural landscape.
