    From Umatac Bay, head southeast on Route 2 (Marine Drive) towards Inalåhan. Continue for approximately 5.5 miles (10-15 minutes) until you reach Bear Rock Lane. Turn left onto Bear Rock Lane and follow it for about 1 mile. A small parking area is available near Bear Rock. Parking is free, but limited.

    From Umatac Bay, catch a bus heading south towards Inalåhan. Buses run periodically. Once you arrive at the Inalåhan bus stop, walk towards Bear Rock Lane, about 1 mile from the bus stop. Follow Bear Rock Lane for about half a mile to reach the parking area at the base of Bear Rock. Bus fare is approximately $1.00 per ride.

    If you are already in Umatac Bay, walk southeast towards Route 2 and follow the road. This is a longer hike, approximately 5.5 miles, and can take about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Inalåhan, follow Bear Rock Lane for about half a mile to reach the parking area at the base of Bear Rock. Ensure you bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
