From the center of Mangilao, start at the Mangilao Shopping Center. Head north on Route 15 (also known as the Marine Corps Drive) for approximately 1 mile until you reach a bus stop near the intersection with Route 1. Continue straight; you will pass by the Guam Community College on your left.

After passing the Guam Community College, look for a crosswalk to cross Route 15. Once across, continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Route 1, where you will see a sign pointing towards Yigo. Turn right onto Route 1.

Stay on Route 1 for about 2 miles. You will pass by several small shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating the direction to Pagat Cave. Follow the signs and continue walking straight.

After approximately 2 miles on Route 1, you will see a road on your left that leads towards the Pagat Cave area. This road is not well-marked, but it will lead you toward the trailhead. Turn left and follow the dirt road. It may be a bit bumpy, so wear comfortable shoes.
