Getting There

Walking
Start from the Tumon Sands Plaza and head south along the main road, Tumon Beach Road. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 1. At this intersection, you'll see the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa on your left. Cross the road carefully and continue heading south. Keep an eye out for the signs that direct you towards the southern beaches and the historical sites. After about another 20 minutes of walking, you will reach the village of Humåtak. The Magellan Monument is located in this area, approximately 5 minutes from the main road, marked by a small path leading up to the monument itself.

From Tumon, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the Guam Premier Outlets. Take the bus heading towards the southern villages (make sure to check the bus schedule for the appropriate route). Ride the bus until you reach the stop for Humåtak. When you disembark, walk towards the main road and follow the signs to Magellan Monument. It should take about 10-15 minutes on foot from the bus stop to reach the monument.
