Mount Lamlam Summit: Guam's Majestic Peak

Mount Lamlam, meaning "lightning" in the Chamorro language, is the highest peak on Guam, rising to 406 meters (1,332 feet) above sea level. While modest in height compared to other global mountains, it holds a unique distinction as potentially the tallest mountain on Earth when measured from its base in the nearby Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the ocean.
