Getting There

• Walking

  From the central park of Antigua (Parque Central), head east on 5a Avenida Norte. Walk straight for approximately 10 blocks until you reach the intersection with 4a Calle Oriente. Turn left onto 4a Calle Oriente and continue walking for 2 more blocks. You will come to the bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses) on your right. Here, you can take a 'chicken bus' towards San Antonio Aguas Calientes. The buses are colorful and frequent. Once on the bus, tell the driver you want to get off at the Parque Central de San Antonio Aguas Calientes. The ride will take around 30 minutes. When you arrive, the park will be visible from the main road.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber. From anywhere in Antigua, simply input 'Parque Central de San Antonio Aguas Calientes' as your destination. The drive will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the driver's credentials and negotiate the fare if you're not using an app.

• Bicycle

  If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Antigua. From the central park, head east on 5a Avenida Norte, then take a left on 4a Calle Oriente. Follow this route to the bus terminal to catch a 'chicken bus' to San Antonio Aguas Calientes as described in the walking section, or continue biking directly to the park along the main road. Just be cautious of traffic and follow local biking rules.
