Once at the terminal, look for a bus heading to Panajachel, which is the closest town to Volcán Atitlán. The bus ride will take approximately 2-3 hours. When you arrive in Panajachel, you can take a boat or a tuk-tuk to the base of Volcán Atitlán, where hiking options are available.
