Car
From Guatemala City, take the CA-9 highway towards the western region of the country. Follow the signs towards San Ignacio, Belize. Once you reach the town of San Ignacio, cross the border into Belize and continue on the Western Highway until you reach the town of Benque Viejo del Carmen. From there, follow the signs to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins.

Take a bus from Guatemala City to San Ignacio, Belize. From San Ignacio, you can take a taxi or local transportation to the border crossing. Once in Belize, take a bus or taxi to Benque Viejo del Carmen and then follow the signs to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins.
