If you're driving from Puerto Barrios, take the CA-9 highway southbound. Continue on CA-9 and follow the signs for Morales. After approximately 40 km, merge onto the road leading to Chiquimula. Once you reach the junction for Chiquimula, continue straight for about 15 km until you see signs for Chicanutz. Follow the local signs to G3R7+FXP, where Utopia Eco Hotel is located. Make sure to keep your GPS handy, as this area can be a bit tricky.

From Puerto Barrios, take a bus to Morales, which costs around 10-15 GTQ. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal. Once in Morales, transfer to a bus heading to Chiquimula. The fare for this leg is approximately 25-30 GTQ. After reaching Chiquimula, look for a local bus or a taxi that offers routes to Chicanutz. The taxi should cost around 50-70 GTQ.
