Walking
From the main square in Chichicastenango, head south on Calle Real towards the intersection with Calle del Cementerio. Turn left onto Calle del Cementerio and continue for about 500 meters. You will pass by local shops and markets. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Santa Lucía Utatlán. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will reach the intersection of the main road. Cross carefully and continue straight. The Iglesia Colonial will be on your right side near the center of Santa Lucía Utatlán.

Find a tuk-tuk stand near the main square or wave one down. Tell the driver you want to go to Santa Lucía Utatlán, specifically to the Iglesia Colonial. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the Iglesia Colonial should be visible from the main road. Just follow the flow of people or ask the driver to drop you off near the church.
