Walking
From the main square (Plaza Mayor) in Chichicastenango, head west on Calle del Comercio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de los Hombres. Turn left onto Calle de los Hombres and follow it until you arrive at the large church, Iglesia de Santo Tomás. From the church, continue straight onto the dirt path leading up the hill. The path will take you through some local residences and a small market area. After about a 20-minute walk uphill, you will reach Pascual Abaj, which is located on the hill. Look for the signs indicating the site and enjoy the view.
Local Transport (Tuk-Tuk)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a tuk-tuk from the main square (Plaza Mayor). Simply approach a tuk-tuk driver and ask to be taken to Pascual Abaj. The ride should only take about 5-10 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at a designated point from where you will need to walk a short distance up the hill to reach the site.
