    Getting There

    Car

    If you're traveling by car from the center of Huehuetenango, head south on Calle 5ta Avenida towards 6ta Calle. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Calle 4ta Avenida. Turn left onto Calle 4ta Avenida and drive for approximately 500 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to Pradera. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers, and you'll see signs directing you to Zaculeu on your right. There is parking available on site.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Zaculeu by public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Huehuetenango. Look for the 'Zaculeu' or 'Pradera' buses, which are typically marked and should depart regularly. The fare is usually around 5 to 10 quetzales. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you are heading to Zaculeu, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 500 meters) to the entrance of the archaeological site.
