From Puerto Barrios, head to the main bus terminal located near the center of town. Look for buses heading to Santo Tomás de Castilla. These buses are frequent and should be easy to find. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Santo Tomás de Castilla, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Ensenada Verde, which is located at M9V9+FCW.

After getting off the bus in Santo Tomás de Castilla, you will need to walk to Ensenada Verde. From the bus stop, head towards the waterfront and look for signs directing you to the national reserve. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes. You will pass through some local areas, so be sure to enjoy the scenery and stay aware of your surroundings.
