Getting There

From Quetzaltenango city center, head southwest on 7a Avenida. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenida Las Américas. Turn left and follow this road, which will eventually become the CA-1 highway towards San Marcos. Stay on CA-1 for about 30 minutes. Look for signs directing you to 'Mirador Xecaracoj'. You will need to take a right turn at the sign, then follow the dirt road up the hill until you reach the mirador. Parking is available at the site.
