    From Semuc Champey, head southwest on the main road towards the town of Lanquín. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take the left turn towards the village of Mocohán. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Cueva de Chicoy. When you reach the coordinates 7P4P+7RQ in Mocohán, you will find the entrance to the cave. There is usually a small parking area available nearby. Note that the road can be bumpy, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

    From Semuc Champey, you can catch a local 'chicken bus' towards Lanquín. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop in Mocohán.
