The hike is a steep, 45-minute climb. There is an entrance fee of Q50 to enter the park. This provides access to the Mirador and the pools.
Public Transport
From Lanquin, take a 'camioneta' (pickup truck) to Semuc Champey. The cost is approximately Q15-Q30 per person. The camionetas will drop you off near the entrance of the park. From there, follow the walking directions to the Mirador trail. Remember to pay the Q50 entrance fee upon arrival.
