From Jalapa, take the road towards Mataquescuintla. The park is located 18 km from Jalapa on a dirt road in good condition, between the villages of La Toma and Miramundo. Look for signs indicating the park's location around Km 121.5. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transport
From Jalapa, take a bus headed towards Mataquescuintla. These buses leave frequently from Jalapa between 5 am and 4 pm. Ask the driver to drop you off near the park. From the drop-off point, there may be a short walk to the waterfalls. The last bus back to Jalapa leaves at 5 pm. Bus fare is approximately Q8.
