Getting There

Walking
From the central park in Gracias, head east on Calle 2 Avenida towards Calle 3. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 4. Turn left onto Calle 4 and walk straight until you see the bus terminal on your right. At the terminal, look for buses heading towards La Esperanza or Santa Rosa de Copán. Purchase a ticket to either of these destinations, as you will need to get off at the junction for Pino Dulce. After boarding, enjoy the scenic ride. Once you reach the junction (approximately 30-40 minutes), disembark and look for a local pickup or taxi that can take you the remaining distance to Pino Dulce Ecological Park. The park is about a 15-minute drive from this junction.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the central park in Gracias. Head east on Calle 2 Avenida, then turn left onto Calle 4. Follow this road out of town. You will cycle through some beautiful countryside. After about 4 km, you will reach the bus junction where you can either decide to continue cycling or catch a local taxi to Pino Dulce Ecological Park, which is about 15 minutes away by car from the junction. Ensure to stay hydrated and wear a helmet.
