Car
If you are driving from the town center of Cobán, head southeast on the CA-9 highway. Continue on CA-9 for about 30 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take the exit toward San Agustín Lanquín. Follow the signs to Lanquín, which will lead you onto a more local road. As you approach Lanquín, you'll see signs for Aldea Yutbal. Turn left at the sign for Aldea Yutbal, and continue straight until you reach Mountain Nest, which will be on your left. The drive takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

From Cobán, head to the local bus terminal and look for a bus heading to San Agustín Lanquín. The bus fare is typically around 20-30 Q (Guatemalan Quetzals). The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Lanquín, you can take a tuk-tuk or a local pickup truck taxi to Aldea Yutbal. The fare for this short ride will be around 10-15 Q. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Mountain Nest, and they will drop you off right at the entrance.
