Getting There

Car
Start your journey from the center of Cobán (the main city in Verapaces). Head southeast on Calle de la Paz towards 1a Avenida. After about 1.5 kilometers, take a left onto the CA-9 highway toward Guatemala City. Continue on CA-9 for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for the sign for Chicanutz and exit onto the road leading to Chicanutz. The lodge is located on Unnamed Road in Chicanutz, about 5 kilometers from the CA-9 exit. There may be unpaved sections, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Public Transportation
From the main bus terminal in Cobán, look for a bus heading towards Chicanutz. The bus fare is generally around Q10-15 (Quetzales). Inform the driver of your destination, Pachamaya Eco Lodge, and they will drop you off at the closest point. From there, it may be necessary to walk approximately 1 kilometer along Unnamed Road to reach the lodge. Be prepared for a rural path, and consider asking locals for assistance if you are unsure of your route.
