Walking
From the St Peter Port waterfront, start at the Guernsey Information Centre and head east along the promenade towards Castle Emplacement. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Castle Cornet. Follow the path around the castle towards the breakwater. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 20-30 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking to the lighthouse.
Public Transport
The Castle Breakwater Lighthouse is accessible by bus from St Peter Port. From the bus terminus, take any bus that stops along Castle Emplacement. Alight near Castle Cornet and walk along Castle Emplacement to the breakwater entrance. A flat fare of £1.60 applies to all daytime journeys.
Parking
If driving, parking is available at Castle Emplacement Car Park, located near Castle Cornet. From the car park, walk along Castle Emplacement to the breakwater entrance. Parking charges apply and are time-limited. Check local signage for current rates. As an estimate, parking for 2 hours will cost around £6.
