Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From St Peter Port, take a bus towards Vale. Disembark at the bus stop nearest to Vale Pond, typically near Vale Church. From there, it's approximately a 10-15 minute walk to Vale Pond; follow the signs. Check local bus schedules in advance due to limited services in the area. A single bus fare will cost around £2.50.

  • Walking

    If you are near Vale Church, exit the church grounds and head south towards the main road, La Rue de la Saline. Turn left and walk along the road for about 15 minutes. Look for La Rue de la Corbinerie on your right; turn onto this road. Continue walking straight until you see Vale Pond on your right. It should take you about 5 minutes from the turn to reach the pond.

    From St Peter Port, head north on Route de la Ramee. Continue until you reach Vale Church. From Vale Church, take Vale Avenue and follow the signs to Vale Pond. Parking is available near the pond. All public parking in Guernsey is free, but in 'Disc Zones' you must use a parking clock to indicate your arrival time. Parking clocks can be purchased at the Guernsey Information Centre, the police station, and other retail outlets.
