The Little Chapel: A Hidden Gem of Guernsey

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Castel, head northeast on Rue des Landes towards the main road, La Rue de la Saline. Follow La Rue de la Saline for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto La Rue de la Mare. Continue straight until you reach the next junction, then turn left onto La Rue de l'Islet. Follow this road for about 0.3 miles until you see a sign for The Little Chapel on your right. The chapel is located a short walk down a path from the road.

  If you are near the Castel Church, exit the church grounds and head south on La Rue de la Saline. Continue walking straight for about 0.7 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto La Rue de la Mare, then turn left at the next junction onto La Rue de l'Islet. Look for the sign for The Little Chapel after a short distance on your right.

• Walking

  From the Castel Hotel, exit the hotel and turn left onto La Rue de la Saline. Walk straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto La Rue de la Mare, then take the first left onto La Rue de l'Islet. The Little Chapel will be indicated by a sign on your right side along the path.

• Walking

  If you are coming from the coast at Vazon Bay, head east along the coastal path until you reach La Rue de la Saline. Turn left onto La Rue de la Saline and continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto La Rue de la Mare, then turn left onto La Rue de l'Islet. The Little Chapel will be on your right side.
