Walking
Start at the Castel Church, located on the main road. Head east on the main road towards the junction with Rue des Varvots. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Castle Road. Turn left onto Castle Road. Follow Castle Road for about 15 minutes, and you will see Vale Castle on your right. The castle is situated at the end of Castle Road, marked by a large stone entrance.
Walking
If you are near the Castel Hospital, exit the hospital grounds and turn left onto Route de la Villiaze. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Islet. Turn right and continue until you reach Castle Road. Turn left onto Castle Road, and Vale Castle will be about a 10-minute walk ahead on your right.
Walking
From the Castel Seafront, head inland towards the main road (Route de la Villiaze). Turn left on Route de la Villiaze and walk until you reach the junction with Rue des Varvots. Turn right onto Rue des Varvots and follow it until you reach Castle Road. Turn left onto Castle Road, and Vale Castle will be ahead on your right, about a 20-minute walk from the seafront.
